Q: When and where will EuroMUN@SH III take place?
A: The third annual session of the Shanghai European Model United Nations will take place from Saturday 3 March 2018 until Sunday 4 March on the EuroCampus in Hongqiao.

Q: Who can attend EuroMUN@SH?
A: EuroMUN@SH is open to students from Grades 9-12 attending as part of a teacher-led delegation.
Q: What is the language of the conference?
A: All conference proceedings will be in English only.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: All participants must dress formally, in Western Business Attire (WBA). People not dressed formally will be asked changed. Please note that national dress is also not allowed.

Q: How can I register for the conference?
A: MUN Directors should fill out the Pre-Registration Form, and then the final School Registration Form. These can be found here. Students wishing to apply for student officer or press team positions should submit the Application for Student Officers and Press Team. Students from the Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS) or the Deutsche Schule Shanghai (DSS) who wish to participate as a delegate or as an administrative staff should visit this page.

A: The registration deadline for pre-registration is 15 December. Registration has to be finalized on 15 January 2017.
Q: Can non-LFS/DSS students apply for leadership positions?
A: Members of the Secretariat (Executive Board and the Management Team) are always from the LFS and the DSS. Students not from these schools may apply for student officer positions, as well as press team positions.

A: EuroMUN@SH uses The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) Foundation procedures. For more information, you may visit their website at thimun.org. Additionally, we have prepared a guide for delegates to introduce them to the MUN procedure at the conference, resolution writing and more. You can find it here.
Q: As a delegate, what should I prepare for the conference?
A: All delegates must arrive at the conference with a working knowledge of procedures. They must also come with a one-minute opening speech and a pre-written resolution (at least two full clauses).
Q:May two students represent the same country together in the same committee?
A: No, there are no double-delegation committees at EuroMUN@SH.
Q: Will there be any preparation sessions?
A: Students from the Lycée Français de Shanghai and the Deutsche Schule Shanghai will be required to attend the LFSMUN Preparation Sessions. The dates will be communicated shortly. All other schools are in charge of having their delegates prepared and well-versed in procedure prior to the conference.
